COP27: Landmarks & Peace Walkway
Two landmarks designed and built by EGY LANDSCAPE for the UN Climate Change Conference, plus pergolas and arches executed along the Peace Walkway, under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and the Cabinet.
The Winged Seahorse
From a pencil page in the sketchbook, to a watercolor study with the 3 m base, to the finished landmark rising from a pool of coral.
The Boat & Compass: UN Square
A sailing boat set on a compass rose over a water basin: four sails marked with the cardinal points, a lookout on the mast and a compass clock. Designed by us as a 3D model, then built on site.
Peace Walkway: pergolas and arches
We executed the timber pergolas, the stepped steel arches and the stamped-concrete paving along the walkway, as sub-contractor to the main company.
